CSPC has started patient recruitment into its Phase 2 study of SYH2069 injection to treat Type-2 diabetes mellitus. SYH2069 is a fatty acid-modified polypeptide, and dual agonist of GLP-1R and GIPR. The product is designed to promote insulin secretion, but also expected to suppress appetite, delay gastric emptying, increase satiation relating to weight-loss effects.
